On Friday I went out with Ekahi Tours on their road to Hana Adventure. The tour picked up early in the morning and started out by viewing some surfing beaches on the north shore of Maui. From here we worked our way east and made our way into the rain forest of Hana. The tour continued all the way around to the backside of the island where we were able to see the desert lands of Kaupo and Kanaio before we made our final stop for some wine tasting at the Tedeschi Vineyard. -Jake Barefoot

My father and I recently went to the Maui Ocean Center to check it out the Aquarium Admission Package. We literally saw thousands of species. There were all kinds of fish, jelly fish, sharks, rays, turtles, star fish and more. Some of the exhibits that we enjoyed the most were the giant walk through tanks that had huge sharks rays and Ulua inside. We got there just in time for the feeding. Being able to see these large ocean predators eat was really cool. The jellyfish tank, and the touch tank were also very interesting. This aquarium was especially interesting for me because to have the opportunity to be able to see all of the fish close up in an aquarium setting really helped me improve my fish identification skills. I will definitely be returning the next time I have family in town because the aquarium is a must do for children. -Jake Barefoot

Yesterday I went paragliding with Proflyte Hawaii on their 3000ft trip and it was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. We started off running down a grassy hill and then took off and flew over an entire forest. I went tandem with a pilot that was controlling everything. He was sitting in the back and I was sitting in the front. It was easy I didn't have to do anything except for run about fifty feet and the best part about it was my dad was flying right there with me! -Jake Barefoot

Today I went out on the Four Winds Two on their Morning Molokini Snorkeling Trip out to the island of Molokini. We saw so many whales that I couldn't believe it! This mother Humpback did some of the most extended breaches I have ever seen Almost her entire body came completely out of the water. -Jake Barefoot

Today I went on a helicopter flight with Air Maui Helicopters from Maui over to Molokai and back. We saw waterfalls, immense jungle valleys, the highest seacliffs in the world, the Kalaupapa leper colony and even giant Manta Rays off the southern shore. -Jake Barefoot

Today I went out on Maui Kayaks whale watching excursion from the Oluwalu area with my step-brother Justin. We had an amazing time snorkeling with turtles and sharks and even having an extremely close encounter with a mother Humpback whale and her calf. -Jake Barefoot
